COAT OF ARMS OF THE APOSTOLIC VICARIATE OF NORTHERN ARABIA

On April 4, 2016, the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia unveiled a new coat of arms to represent the Vicariate on official documents and other materials.
The coat of arms features a shield, surmounted by a bishop’s mitre, cross, and crozier.
The four colors on the shield symbolize the four countries within the Vicariate: red for Bahrain, green for Saudi Arabia, dark brown for Qatar, and black for Kuwait.
At the center of the design, the letter ‘M’ is inscribed in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, under her title of Our Lady of Arabia, to whom the Vicariate is dedicated.
