1. 19th May is the Solemnity of the Pentecost.

2. The Pre-baptism Seminar for the parents and godparents will be on Monday 20th May from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Holy Family Hall. Kindly register in the Parish Office.

3. The Teens Encounter programme will be in the Carmel School from 14th to 16th June from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Before 5th June, please register in the Parish Office.

4. Those desiring that the Hospital Visitation members visit the sick in the hospitals and the homes, are kindly requested to check the notice board for more information.

5. A humble appeal from Bishop Camillo seeking your aid to finance in order to build a Temple of God, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia, in Bahrain. We request each family to contribute 1 dinar per month for 12 months. Bishop Camillo thanks you in advance for your generosity towards this noble cause. Kindly collect the envelopes and drop your love offerings in the Box placed at the back in the white box placed at the back.

6. The Wedding Anniversary Mass will be on 21st May, Tuesday, at 6:30 pm. for those couples who got married in the Church in February, March, April and May.

7. All those who are desiring to become Pastoral Helpers are kindly requested to register in the Sacristy. All the other Pastoral Helpers are also requested to register again.

8. There will be a Pilgrimage to the Holy Places in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal from 4th to 14th October. For more details contact the Salmiya Parish.

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. Every Saturday at 11:00 am, we celebrate the Mass in Spanish in the Virgin Mary Hall. We invite the Spanish-speaking community to participate in the Liturgy.

2. On Fridays at 5:30 pm, English Mass is celebrated in Jahra.

3. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (inside the Cathedral) is reserved for parents with infants, during the Mass.

1. There will be Baptism Seminar on May 21, Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the Catechism block. Attendance is compulsory for both parents and godbparents.

2. Couples celebrating their marriage anniniversary in this month are requested to register their names in the parish office. The renewal of marriage vows will be on May 25 at the 6:00 PM mass.

3. The Youth, aged 13 to 17 years old, are invited to attend the Teens Encounter Program, “Let’s Go on June 14 to 16, 2013 in Carmel School, Khaitan. For more details contact Jesus Youth volunteers or the parish office. This program is organized by the Jesus Youth.

4. Confirmation of children will be on May 24, 2013 at 9:00 AM. The 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM masses are cancelled on that day.

5. The Parish Intercessory Prayer Ministry will conduct praise and worship on May 20, Monday after the 6:00 PM mass. Parishioners are invited.

6. There will be Parish Summer Camp for children aged 5 to 12 years old from June 14 to July 26, 2013 in the Catechism block. Registration forms are available in the parish office and regisration fee is 1KD. For more details see the notice board.

7. A pilgrimage is being arranged to the holy places in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal from October 4-14,2013. For more details contact St.Therese Parish, Salmiya.

8. Our Bishop Camillo Ballin is asking your help to finance the construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain. Kindly collect the envelopes in the parish office and put your love offerings in the Donation Box or hand them over to the parish priest. Bishop Camillo thanks you in advance for your generosity. 1. Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost. From Monday, we pray the ‘ANGELUS’ instead of the ‘Regina Caeli’.

2. We thank all Catechists, especially those who prepared our 134 students for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Special thanks also to those who helped with all other preparations.

3. Reading Skills Session for the Lectors Course is on Saturday, 18th May from 9:30 to 11 am. The Saturday Children’s Program will be conducted on 18th May.

4. Friday, 24th May is the Feast of Mary, Help of Christians. It is also the Silver Jubilee of the First Profession of Rev. Fr. Francisco Pereira sdb. Seven Salesian Cooperators will take their Promise to belong to the Salesian Family. All are invited to join Fr. Franco, on this day, for the 6:15 pm (NOT 6:30 pm) Mass, as he thanks God for the wonders He has worked in his life. A Felicitation Program will follow at the IEAS Basement.

5. For the last 4 years, Fr. Franco has served as the Administrator of IEAS, Priest in-charge of Catechesis at the Vicariate of Northern Arabia and has been helping the Bishop in matters of finance. From May 2013, Fr. Franco will be assisting the Bishop full-time with Catechesis and Finance. We compliment him and assure him of our prayerful support.

6. A fund-raising food festival and raffle will be organized by our Filipinos on Friday, 24th May from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The proceeds will be used for our Church.

7. SPY is organizing a Talent Hunt Competition for Parishioners on Friday, 7th June from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Auditions will be held on 28th and 29th May. Registration forms are available at the Resource Center and the last date for registrations is 26th May.

8. Those interested in volunteering as Coordinators for the Theresian Summer Club can register at the Resource Centre between 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Last date for registration is 3rd June.

9. Every Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, members of the Hospital Visitation Ministry are available to visit the sick in hospitals and in homes, to pray with them and comfort them. Holy Communion will be given to the sick upon request.

10. A humble appeal from His Lordship Bishop Camillo Ballin seeking your financial help, in building a ‘Temple of God’ - the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain. To help defray the cost, each family is requested to contribute 1 KD per month for twelve months. Receipts will be issued to each donor.

11. During the summer vacation (3rd June > 31st August), the daily 6:45 am Mass as well as the Friday 11:30 am Mass, are cancelled.

12. Two Salesian Priests will conduct a Retreat for our children on June 20, 21 & 22 at IEAS.

1. The (REVISED) Parish Office timings are as follows:
8:30 am to 11:30 am and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm or by appointment.
The office is closed on Fridays.

2. We request parents with infants to occupy only Room # 1 during the Mass.

3. Parishioners who bring their vehicles to Church are kindly requested to abide by Kuwait's traffic rules whilst parking so as to not inconvenience others.  "Do unto others, as you would have them do to you" should henceforth be our motto whilst parking.

1. The Solemnity of Pentecost is on 19th May, Sunday. On the same day at 6.30 p.m. there will be Holy Mass in Syro Malabar Rite in St. Daniel Comboni Hall. As it is a custom to make the child write the Alphabet for the first time, the Vidyarambham will be held on Pentecost Sunday from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. in St. Daniel Comboni Hall. Morning from 8.00 a.m. till 11.00 a .m. you can bring your children to the Priests’ residence.

2. Congratulations, dear Parishioners. You have done it. We are proud and happy to inform you that we have successfully conducted our Mega May Fete 2013 which could be possible only due to the collaboration and co operation of the Parish Pastoral committee, Sub-committee members, Catechists, Children, numerous volunteers and all you parishioners. A heartfelt big thanks to you all.

3. Those who are studying in the first standard in school or who were born on or before 30th September 2007 will be admitted in class one of the Catechism Class. You can collect the Registration form from the parish office. You are requested to submit the filled-in Registration form in the same office, along with the Baptism Certificate of the child and the Registration fee of K.D.10.000 as per the direction of our Bishop. The last date to submit the filled-in Registration Form is 14th June, 2013. For the other classes, registrations will be done at the beginning of August. The classes will begin on 13th September, 2013.

4. On 21st May at 6.30 p.m. there will be a special thanksgiving Mass for those couples who have celebrated their wedding anniversaries during the last 4 months.

5. St. Paul’s Prayer Group will be conducting a Praise Festival (Ganasthuthi) on Thursday 23rd May, 2013 after the evening Holy Mass in Our Lady of Arabia Hall (Basement I).

6. A special retreat has been arranged for our children on the 26th, 27th and 29th of June, 2013. Parents are requested to take a special interest in the spiritual welfare of their children and send them for this retreat. Kindly register your child's name at the parish office next week.

7. A humble appeal from His Lordship Bishop Camillo Ballin seeking your financial aid to build a “Temple of God” Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain. In order to partly defray the cost of construction, we request each family to contribute 1 KD per month for 12 months. Receipts will be issued to each donor. Bishop Camillo thanks you in advance for your generosity towards this noble cause. Kindly collect the envelopes where you can drop your love offerings in the boxes meant for fund raising or hand them over to the parish priests. God reward you a hundred-fold.
