PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS: Week Starting November 15
1.The Rosa Mystica One Thousand Hail Marys will be held on Friday, 22nd November at 2:45 - 7:45 in the St. Padre Pio Hall.
2. As 22nd November is the day of St. Cecilia, the patroness of the choir members, kindly say a prayer for them.
3. 24th November will be the Solemnity of Christ the King.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS: Week Starting November 15
1. Saturday, 16th November is the birthday of our Parish Priest, Fr. Roswin Pires and on
Monday, 18th November is the 2nd Anniversary of his installation as Parish Priest of Our
Lady of Arabia church. A thanksgiving Holy Mass will be celebrated on 16th November at
6:00 PM. We kindly request all parishioners to keep Fr. Roswin in your prayers.
2. All parishioners are warmly invited to join in on Sunday, 17th November, after the 6:00
PM Mass, for a small celebration in honor of Fr. Roswin 2nd Anniversary as our Parish
Priest.
3. An additional English Mass will be held on Sunday, 17th November at 7:15 PM.
Going forward, this Mass will be celebrated on alternate Sundays at the same time.
4. There will be a baptism seminar on Tuesday, 19th November from 6:30 PM in the
catechism block. The following documents are mandatory-
1) Birth certificate of the child
2) Baptism and Confirmation certificates of parents and God parents
3) Marriage certificate of the parents
Attendance is compulsory for both parents and God parents. Kindly register your
names in the parish office.
5. Our Lady of Arabia Youth are organizing a Youth Day for those aged between 13 to 18
years on Friday, 22nd November from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Ahmadi Garden after
English catechism. Those interested can register by scanning the QR code in the parish
office. Last date of registration is 18th November.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS: Week Starting Movember 15
1. We are in the 33 rd week of Ordinary Time. On the occasion of the World Day of the
Poor, which is celebrated on Sunday, 17 th November, we are all invited to become
aware of the life situation of poor people and to reach out to some poor family on this
day or during the week. The world day of the poor is an initiative of Pope Francis
begun in 2017.
2. Thursday, 21 st November is the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
3. The Liturgical Ministry Commission will be conducting a Lectors Training Course in
the Church on Tuesday 19 th November from 7.15 pm to 8.45 pm. All those who
would like to be Lectors (even previously registered Lectors) are expected to attend
the session. Catholics, 18 years to 65 years are eligible to register. The Online Link
& QR Code for the registration is put up on the notice board and also shared on the
WhatsApp groups. The last date for registration is Sunday 17 th November.
4. The Salmiya Parish Youth (SPY) invite all domestic helpers of the Roman Catholic
Community ONLY for a special one day outing at Kabd on Friday, the 29 th of
November 2024. All the domestic helpers who would like to register themselves
for the same kindly do so in the Church Courtyard. Please bring your Civil ID along
with you. The registration will be accepted on the dates and timings specified on the
Church noticeboard.
5. On Friday 29 th November a free Medical Checkup & advice organized by the Indian
Doctors Forum will be held at the Indian English Academy School, Don Bosco,
Salmiya from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. For further details and registrations kindly check
the notice board.
