On 4th April 2016, the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia launched a new coat of arms to identify the Vicariate on documents, etc.
The arms is comprised of a shield, surmounted by a bishop’s mitre, cross and crozier.
The four colours on the shield represent the four countries of our Vicariate: red (Bahrain), green (Saudi), dark brown (Qatar) and black (Kuwait).
Over all, the letter 'M' is inscribed to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary, in her title of Our Lady of Arabia, to whom our Vicariate is dedicated.
