Fr. Paul Valiyaveetil M. was born on 2nd of July, 1980 in Palliport and was baptized in Our Lady of Snow Church in Kottapuram Diocese. He is the youngest in the family of seven children with five elder brothers and one elder sister.
Fr. Paul did his grade and high school education in St. Mary’s Palliport.
He joined the Capuchin Seminary in 1997 and received his religious habit on May 1st, 2001. He made his temporary profession on 25th April, 2002 and perpetually committed himself to God by his Perpetual Profession on 14th May, 2009.
He was ordained on 17th December, 2009 in St. Francis Capuchin Province, Kerala.
He procured his B.A. in Philosophy from Marygiri Philosophical College, Thiruvananthapuram, and did his theological studies at Bodhi Institute of Theology, Kollam.
After his ordination, he served as the Spiritual Director of SFO (Secular Franciscan Order) for one and half years in Trivandrum and as Catechism In charge in Fort Kochi for 6 months. Then he was appointed as the Parish Priest in St. Michael’s Church Kannur Diocese where he ministered for one and half years. He was transferred to St. Sebastian’s Church to serve as the Parish Priest for 6 months.
Fr. Paul joined the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia on 19th January, 2015, and was assigned to the Parish of St. Daniel Comboni, Jleeb Al Shuyoukh.
In November 2015, Fr. Paul was transferred to the Holy Family Cathedral Parish, Kuwait City.
In August 2017, Fr. Paul was transferred to St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Jleeb Al Shuyoukh.

The Vicariate of Kuwait is now the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia which includes Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The decree from the Holy See came into effect on May 31, 2011.
